BIM/Trimble/Drone Services

Comfort Systems (Syracuse) has the capability or either participating or being the lead coordinator through the BIM process. Our facility allows us to host Teams meetings or streamline video conferencing. We also use Trimble positioning systems to assist with the accuracy & placement of our plumbing & mechanical systems. With customer consent, we also provide drone video & snapshots of project progress.
Prefabrication
Our fabrication shop consisting of over 40,000 SQ FT of space allows us to fabricate Fire Protection Systems, Racking & Hanger Systems, Bathroom Mods, Mechanical Room Components, & Sheet Metal Projects. If we can Build it "IN HOUSE", we build it. Recognizing that project schedules are becoming more condensed, we are able to offer our customers considerable time savings. Working in a controlled environment is also safer & more productive. Quality control & testing is required before any component is delivered to a job site. We welcome scheduled visits to our customers, client & vendors. (All Visitors Must Abide By Our Safety Policies When Visiting Our Facility).

Fire Protection and Security
We have a dedicated fire and security division that maintains and tests both wet and dry pipe fire sprinkler pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, backflow prevention devices, anti-freeze/glycol systems, fire alarms, clean agent suppression, security/access control, Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV) systems and more.

At Comfort Systems USA (Syracuse) we understand that the personal health and safety of our employees and our organization is of primary importance. We believe our employees are our most valuable asset and that their safety is our greatest responsibility. Our goal is to provide our employees and our customers world class safety hazard prevention with a "Safety First" upper management commitment, company safety committee, backed with an industry leading training program and unrivaled OSHA policies.

Our safety director holds a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, is a certified OSHA outreach trainer, train the trainer in all construction safety standards, American Red Cross Certified instructor, and is an NCCER certified instructor.

We offer an unparalleled training program for all our employees to include but not limited to the following:

10-Hour OSHA certification for all new hire employees.

30-Hour OSHA certification for all supervisors and foreman.
As well as confined space, aerial lift, welding & cutting (Hot Work), asbestos awareness, lead awareness, fall protection, first aid, CPR & AED, hazard (GHS) communication, powered industrial trucks (all classes I-VII), respiratory training & fit testing, rigging & signal person training, scaffolding (Use & Erection) training, silica exposure, and trenching & excavation...

Apprenticeship Program
Woodcock & Armani, ABJ, and Billone Mechanical offer a NYS registered apprenticeship training program in Plumber/Pipefitter, Sheetmetal & Sprinkler fitter disciplines utilizing the NCCER curricula. The training is provided in our 5,000 sq. ft. NYSED approved training facility as a NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor. The coordination of training is provided by the Training & Development Manager Vincent Godlewski. Vincent is a former NYS Adult Educator and currently a NCCER Master Trainer, Licensed Master Plumber, HVAC & OSHA authorized construction trainer.
